What you will work on
- Improve LucentraCode’s terminal workflow for inspecting a repository, planning a change, building it, and reviewing the result.
- Contribute to model choice and Smart Auto, which routes coding tasks across the models available in LucentraCode.
- Help coding agents use repository context and project instructions while working with existing code.
- Improve the checks and verification developers use to review code changes made through the CLI.
- Contribute tests, documentation, and developer tool integrations that support the LucentraCode workflow.
What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Interest in AI coding tools, language models, and coding agents.
- Comfort using a terminal, Git, and software projects with existing code.
- Care when handling permissions, secrets, model output, and changes to a repository.
- Clear communication and a thoughtful approach to investigating and verifying software changes.
Helpful experience
- Building command line tools or other developer software.
- Working with multiple model providers, AI agents, repository context, or Smart Auto style model selection.
- Using tests to check AI assisted code changes and integrations.
- Contributing to open source software or developer documentation.
Work arrangement
This internship is fully remote for candidates based in India. The expected weekly schedule, duration, and start date will be discussed during the hiring process.
